1. I picked graphite because I wanted to have a good amount of value in my piece.
2. I added a generic apple and an octopus to create "The Octo-apple" 3. First I needed to pick to things I wanted to mash up, then pick a medium. After the medium is chosen, then start sketching them together in the most fitting way (so that they have a common blending point). Then finally create a final piece.

1. I found it hard to mix the swatches because I had never done it before and was new to it.
2. I mixed blue (a primary color) with orange (blue's complimentary color). 3. I picked a small church located on the coast of the 19 mile wide island of Aruba. I picked this small and simplistic church because it was an enjoyable, spiritual memory to revisit. 1. Graphite is my favorite medium because it is very forgiving and is a great creator of progressional values.
2. The cut paper sphere is my least favorite medium because it doesn't blend together well.
